Advisory Services Manager, Tax & Accounting

Originally from West Virginia, Kathy brings a wealth of experience to our firm. After graduating from college and obtaining her CPA license, she successfully ran her own accounting and tax preparation firm for many years in her hometown. Recently, she made the exciting move to Houston after residing in Denver, Colorado for five years.

Kathy’s passion for her field led her to obtain her Texas CPA license upon arriving in Houston. While she has experience in private sector accounting, her heart lies in tax preparation and bookkeeping. She thrives on interacting with our diverse clientele and is always willing to share her knowledge, whether it’s educating clients about their tax and accounting needs or taking care of everything for them, based on their preferences.

In her role as Advisory Services Manager, Kathy not only works closely with clients to address their individual and business needs, but she also oversees a remarkable team of advisors who consistently go above and beyond to uphold the high standards set by Molen & Associates. She takes immense pride in our commitment to putting the client first and is always delighted to witness this principle in action through her team members.

Outside of work, Kathy resides in Spring, TX, with her husband, children, and a beloved Labradoodle who is thoroughly spoiled. She finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as cooking and exploring new restaurants. Reading, spending quality time with friends and family, and embarking on adventures are among her favorite pastimes. As an enthusiastic traveler, Kathy looks forward to discovering more of the wonders that the great state of Texas has to offer.
