Meet Courtney Lewis

Courtney Lewis

Professional Advocate

Courtney’s hometown is in Dothan, Alabama. “I am southern girl through and through, and though life has taken me to Idaho, Colorado, and other places, the south has always been the place that has felt the most like home.” Courtney graduated from Brigham Young University – Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Studies. She is the middle child of five children with only one brother. Her older siblings are married and have children making her the aunt of almost four nephews and one niece.

Courtney served an 18-month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout the state of Colorado. “I am married to the most incredible man in the world and I’m blessed to be able to work here at Molen & Associates with him.” Her personal hobbies would be swimming, piano, and singing. She and her husband love travel and play tennis together! They have made a goal to travel every year and so far they’ve done just that. Courtney and her husband have traveled the west coast and have gone on a cruise to the Bahamas. She hopes to one day be working on her life coaching certification and is currently working on learning Spanish. “It is awesome and I’m excited to, one day, be able to speak Spanish fluently!”

One thing that not many people know about Courtney is that she can down a full container of Nutella pretty quickly. Her husband usually has to hide it from her, which he had to do last tax season when the CEO of Molen & Associates bought a huge container of Nutella and put it in the kitchen.

Courtney’s main responsibility at Molen & Associates is working with the tax advisors to ensure that they are able to serve their clients to the best of their ability. During tax season, they have client meetings all day and work very long hours. She helps them with anything she can in order to provide a better client experience and allow the advisors to focus on what they do best.

“One reason you can count on me in the workplace is because I’m loyal, hard-working, and I’m generally a pretty outgoing person. I love to bring new ideas to the table and I love to learn new things. When my opinion is wanted on different policies or procedures in the workplace, then I’ll be more than happy to give it. If there isn’t any more work for me in my job position, then I will happily go help where it is needed.”

Courtney takes to heart our core value of servicing the clients above all else and strives to give each client the best experience possible. What keeps her going is her husband and the thought of being able to make a difference every day.
