By following a few simple steps, you can obtain your EIN quickly and easily. Let’s take a look at how to apply for an EIN in Houston, TX.

 

The first step is to gather the required information. You will need the following:

 

  • The name and address of your business

  • The type of business entity (e.g., sole proprietorship, partnership, LLC, etc.)

  • The names and Social Security numbers of the owners/officers of the business

  • The date your business began operating

  • The contact information for your accountant or tax preparer (if you have one)

     

Once you have gathered all of the required information, you will need to complete an application form. The easiest way to do this is online through the IRS website. However, you can also complete a paper application form if you prefer.
