Taxes have been around nearly as long as civilization itself. Historians have found tax records that go back to 6,000 B.C. in what is now Iraq. The ancient Greek, Egyptian and Chinese cultures all had their own versions as well.

Even the bible has an account where a question was posed to Jesus – His response was to give Caesar what is his. That was his response in reference to taxes of his time.

In Biblical times, Roman emperor Caesar Augustus established rules around some personal and inheritance taxes that the English later used to create similar taxes centuries later, according to the Handbook on Tax Administration.

The first income tax in the U.S. was authorized by Congress in 1861 and levied the following year, to help pay for the Civil War, according to the Civil War Trust, but Ironically, modern-day Italy has the lowest rate of income-tax compliance out of 10 major developed nations, with less than two-thirds of citizens giving the tax man his due.

Although plenty of Americans have argued in court that they shouldn’t have to pay taxes, the IRS has a helpful 71-page paper that methodically debunks these claims, The Truth About Frivolous Tax Arguments, (which might be equally helpful as a cure for tax-season-induced insomnia.)

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you are wanting honest and sincere tax preparation, this is where you need to go.  We have worked with other well know tax preparation companies and ended up at the bottom of their priority list because we chose not to get the Platinum advance or whatever it was called this year.

We had to file a previous year along with our current year.  Brittany was awesome.  She was able to calm the nerves associated with filing taxes and tax preparation as a whole.  She answered ALL of our questions and even asked questions that we would have never thought of.   She made us feel that there was nothing to worry about, She was looking out for us and not to get us.   We will be asking for her again this next year.

I'm definitely recommending Molen & Asociates to everyone I know.  The fact that they are booked solid during tax season only confirms the fact that they are good at what they do.
